Spectrum Care Prescription Pickup and Delivery Service Policy Welcome to Spectrum Care! We provide a convenient and reliable service to pick up your pre-paid prescriptions from your local pharmacy and deliver them directly to you. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for using our service. I. Our Service - What We Do Spectrum Care operates as a third-party delivery service. We are NOT a pharmacy and do not dispense medications. Our role is strictly limited to: Receiving delivery requests from you via our website, spectrumcareia.org. Acting as your authorized agent to pick up your pre-paid prescription(s) from your designated local pharmacy. Transporting your prescription(s) securely from the pharmacy to your specified delivery address. II. Eligibility and Requirements for Service A. Pre-Paid Prescriptions Only: Spectrum Care will only pick up prescriptions that have been fully paid for by you directly to your pharmacy prior to our arrival. Our drivers cannot handle payments for prescriptions at the pharmacy. If a prescription is not pre-paid, our driver will not be able to pick it up, and you may still be subject to a delivery fee (see Section IV.B). B. Authorization to Pick Up: You must ensure that Spectrum Care (or our designated driver/agent) is authorized by your pharmacy to pick up your prescription on your behalf. This typically involves: * Notifying your pharmacy that Spectrum Care will be picking up your prescription. * Ensuring your pharmacy has specific instructions or a record of your authorization for a third-party pickup, if required by their policy or state law. * Providing us with any specific codes, order numbers, or information required by your pharmacy for pickup verification. C. Delivery Zone: Our delivery service is available within our designated service area. Please verify your address's eligibility on our website, spectrumcareia.org, or by contacting us. D. Medication Restrictions: While we aim to deliver most prescriptions, certain medications may have restrictions due to their nature (e.g., extremely fragile items, medications requiring specific temperature control beyond standard transport, or highly controlled substances that state law may require the patient to pick up directly).
